Finnish Challenge Tour player, Ilari Saulo showed his class with a solid 9 under par total to win The Pinheiros Altos Open by a single shot from Owen Benson and 3 ahead of overnight leader Craig Lawrie
Lawrie, produced a steady enough 1 under par 71 in his final round but eventually finished in third place, 2 shots adrift of Benson, who closed with a 4 under par 68 and 3 behind Saulo who shot an impressive 6 under par 66 over the Pinheiros Altos “Pine and Corks” layout.
A mention for the leading amateur, Irelands Hugh Foley, who joined Lawrie on 6 under par in fourth place, after capping two rounds of level par with his own 6 under par 66.
A big thank you to all the Pro Am and AM Cup players who enjoyed the courses and hospitality shown by both Pinheiros Altos and San Lorenzo.
