Portugal's Daniel da Costa Rodrigues secured a well-deserved victory at the Morgado Open, coming in at 11-under-par on a total of 208. Even with a tough last day, Rodrigues' solid first two days gave him a margin to hold onto and eventually secure the win.
Rodrigues had a strong start to the tournament with a 68 on Day 1, followed by a 67 on Day 2 to put him in good shape as he entered the final round. Though his 73 in the final round was less accurate than the remainder of his play, it was enough to secure his lead over the field, three strokes clear of runner-up Pia Babnik (LET Player).
