Tomás Melo Gouveia delivered a composed and consistent performance across three rounds to secure victory at the San Lorenzo Open Tournament, played at the San Lorenzo Golf Course on 20th February. The professional topped the leaderboard with seven under par (209), setting the pace throughout the week.
Melo Gouveia built his advantage with back-to-back rounds of 69 before holding firm under pressure with a closing 71. His steady approach and ability to avoid costly errors proved decisive, particularly as the field tightened behind him during the final round.
UK professional Arron Edwards-Hill finished second on six under par (210), following rounds of 71, 70 and an impressive closing 69 to apply late pressure. He was closely followed by fellow UK professional Jake McGoldrick in third place on five under par (211), whose scores of 70, 72 and 69 capped a solid all-round performance in a competitive field.
