Portuguese golf sensation Pedro Figueiredo won the first two events on the 2026 PT Tour season, taking top honours at both the Pinhal Open and the Vilamoura Millennium Open for a clean sweep on home soil.
Figueiredo had a great start into the season, winning at the Pinhal Golf Course in Vilamoura with a total of 209 strokes (-7) over three rounds. Consistent in his play, he posted rounds of 73, 68, and 68, recording five birdies in the last round to keep his lead when it mattered the most. The result gave him the first trophy of the season and set the tone for what would become a dominant run through swing one.
Only days later, Figueiredo took that momentum to the Vilamoura Millennium Open, featuring another strong field. He turned in a score of 197 (-19) throughout his three rounds-carding a near-perfect 65 in his final round-to finish three strokes clear of the nearest challenger. This second victory not only confirmed his early-season form but also underlined his influence on the Portuguese professional golf scene.
